It begins life as a highchair with a five-point harness and a leg post. As your baby grows, the seat and footrest can be lowered, and finally it converts into a junior seat without the tray or post.

Practicality
The wooden and moulded plastic parts feel robust and are easily adjustable compared to rival models. Each Sprout comes with a smaller cushion for an older child, and best of all it can be cleaned quickly.

Nit-picking
The seat itself has just three height positions and the harness clip is fiddly as it’s behind the leg post. As with most wooden seats, the Sprout won’t fold up or recline. At 14kg, it’s also chunky to move.
