This is such a small monitor, that it is the prefect companion if you plan to travel somewhere and want to take a monitor. It won’t take up very much room and it is mains or battery operated, which means you don’t even need to lug a bug power pack around with you, if you prefer not to. The two units actually fit into a case that is no bigger than a sunglasses case. In our experience, the less you need to carry when travelling with a small baby, the better!

The long range of 300 metres, is also a bonus, as it is powerful enough to feel assured of its efficacy at home and not just as a portable piece of equipment. It can have completely wireless operation, if you so choose and it comes with 2 sets of rechargeable batteries. The other thing that might appeal to aesthetes, is that design-wise it is more like a piece of modern computer equipment, than a gaudy plastic baby monitor.
