There is a colour-coded installation guide with this car seat, which makes for really easy installation, with or without the Isofix system. This is important because sometimes you can worry about safety, if you have installed a seat yourself. The side protection system should also reassure you about your child's in-car welfare. The seat is front facing, which is better for your child if they suffer from motion sickness and it is high enough that your child can look out of the window. Although a little on the expensive side, this car seat should last from when your baby moves from a rear facing seat, all the way to a booster seat, so it is worth the investment.
Other features that the Priorifix has include a "support leg", which offers extra stability to the seat, an easy to adjust harness and single-handed adjustment through the four sitting to sleeping positions. This could be important as when you are in the car, if your child falls asleep in an upright position, he only nap for a few minutes. If you can recline his seat however, he may have a proper sleep, which could make a difference to your journey.

I recently purchased the Maxi Cosi Priori FX (non-isofix) car seat during the John Lewis Clearance Sale for GBP100 which my 6-month old daughter can grow into. It was the aqua-coloured sky diver design. I think this is an impressive piece of kit with it's different sitting and reclining positions. Truly great value for money with all the good stuff written above!!!
