The Maxi Cosi Cabriofix is a group 0 car seat for children up to 13kg (usually birth until 12 months), which is reasonably priced and comes in stylish colours. The extra head support that comes with this car seat really does mean that it is suitable from birth all the way up to when your baby is ready for a Group 1 car seat. Because it integrates with the Isofix system, it means that this car seat is guaranteed to be safely (and easily) installed. The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix must always be fitted in a rearward facing position using a standard 3-point seat belt and you should not place the Maxi Cosi on a front seat if an airbag is fitted.

The washable covers are a big selling point. It is nice to know that you can take off soiled covers and give them a good wash, rather than have your baby's regurgitated breakfast stink the car out. The seat is also compatible with other buggies and travel systems, which might be useful for you, if you wanted a travel system. the ergonomic travel handle means that carrying the seat around is also not uncomfortable for you.
