This is an expensive car seat, but since it fits into the Mamas & Papas Travel System, you will hopefully be saving money on trips to the osteopath, as you won’t be carrying the seat for long periods of time. It is a rear facing car seat, so do ensure it is not put in the front passenger seat, if you have an airbag fitted, as this could be fatal during an accident. It will definitely fit most babies until it is time to move to a Group 1 car seat and shouldn't be outgrown too easily.
As those mothers who have non-washable covers on their child's car seats will testify: the benefits of having removeable covers are fragrant. It is hard to get the smell of baby sick out of fabric by hand, at times, and being able to get to a washing machine with the covers is good news. This seat is probably worth buying, if you are interested in purchasing a travel system for your infant.

We bought this car seat for our daughter and have been using it from the moment we left the hospital. She always seems very snug (perhaps a little sweaty when its very hot out)and seems to enjoy the experience when she is safely buckled up. The downside is definitely the weight of chair. It is heafty on its own, but when you load a baby into it, it becomes very hard to carry. You either need to bend awkwardly and hold the handle with both hands or try to get wherever you are going at a running speed, one arm outstretched like a tightrope walker. But, it clips into my isofix attachment like a dream and the cover designs are lovely, so maybe if it was a car seat which stayed in the car I wouldn't have a bad thing to say!
We bought this seat for our son and it has been really good. It's a little more upright than some of the seats, but Harry seems comfortable and happy in it. The fact that it comes out of the car easily and clicks onto the Pliko P3 pram that we have has also been really handy and I've really liked that feature. On the downside it is pretty awkward and heavy to carry and in the early days his head seemed to flop forward quite easily while he slept, although this seemed to bother me more than him!
Overall, I'd recommend this car seat as part of the Pliko travel system.
