A more traditional option of high chair, in the sense that it is a freestanding chair with a tray in front. This allows you to sit directly in front of your baby when feeding, and it is a space which belongs to your child. This is a highly portable chair, which is also adjustable. Its lightweight structure means that you can move it easily from room to room and its ability to recline means that you can use it as soon as your child starts eating solid foods. This chair is also a fairly good price at just under £50 and will be fairly durable.
One of the downsides is probably the amount of floor space that this chair will take up. It is quite big and although portable, it is still going to be hard to stuff in a cupboard, if you have a tiny apartment. Plus, it is often such a hassle putting a chair away after every feed that you will probably end up not bothering, so it could feasibly get in your way. Depending on your aesthetic preferences, the "loud" patterned, plastic may not be to everybody's tastes, but it is easy to clean and unless you want to spend a bit more, it may suffice.
