A night light and lullaby machine all in one, which promises to help your baby settle down to sleep without a problem.
If you are worried about your baby dropping off to sleep without any company, don't be! This lullaby night light device form Chicco, promises to do the work of a parent when you put baby in her cot. It plays soothing lullabies and has a reassuring night light that may help your child to sleep more peacefully. You can even record your own voice, so that your baby can hear you, even when you are not in the room with them.
It has different settings, so you can play it manually or it can be sound activated. Similarly, with the lights, you can choose either random or constant settings for this feature. The night light attaches on to the side of the cot, securely with plastic straps and can be situated fairly high up. For babies who find it hard to settle or need some reassurance, then this might well be a helpful tool for parents to try out. TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!!
It has a roling barrel at bottom which triggers the sounds and light and overrides the settings in the middle of the night, so even when you've set it to soft melody the baby waking in the night can start playing and banging about. The quietist melody is really loud for the middle of the night and we have just had the night from hell with this attached to the cot.
I was really excited about it, and hoped it would do the trick for us, but it seems it is much too tempting for an active baby waking in the night.
