Sometimes it can be a bit tough to get baby into this door bouncer unaided, but the results are generally worth the trouble: bouncing is seriously entertaining as far as little people are concerned.

The idea of a baby bouncer is that it helps your baby to practise standing, explore movement and helps her to negotiate and make sense of the space around her. Physical play helps young children to learn about balance and co-ordination and so increases their physical development. The Tippitoes door bouncer is medically approved and has passed strict safety tests, which is obviously important for your peace of mind. Some children will find it extremely entertaining, especially those babies that don't like to sit still, and if you can hook it up to your kitchen door, it is a good trick to play for a bit of time while you cook or do some chores.

To use the bouncer, you attach it to an interior door frame (your walls should be 10cm thick) with a special clamp. You then put the child in the harness and attach the straps to a pole, which in turn is fitted to the clamp on the frame. It is very supportive and comfortable for your child to use, although you shouldn't use it for more than 20 minutes at a time and you mustn't leave your child unattended while they are using it.  You can use the bouncer until your child weighs 11kg, which generally is at about the age of nine months and it is easily stored as it comes apart. This is what we think. Let us and other parents know what you think about the Tippitoes door bouncer, by leaving your comments about the product here.

I bought one of these for my son & unfortunately we only used it a handful of times. It was rather awkward to get him in & out of, & once he was settled into it, he would bounce a few times & then get fed up. Introducing toys to him as part of his time in there helped a little. Just not one for him really - & certainly not worth the price. We're selling ours on eBay now!
