Bugaboo Travel System

Price: From £599.00
gurgle Rating:
  • Use from birth
  • Carrycot for overnight sleeping
  • Underseat bag
  • Reversible and adjustable height handlebar
  • Machine washable
  • Raincover and maintenance kit
  • Easy folding
  • Sun canopy, mosquito net
  • Adjustable suspension and swivel wheels.
Reading through the list of features, you may be forgiven for mistaking the Bugaboo Cameleon for a sports car, rather than as a mere child transporter. It is safe to say that if you can afford it, this is the Ferrari of prams and a hot favourite with celebrities, if you are interested in that sort of thing. Sleek, chic and fast, it has a wealth of great features. The Bugaboo is lightweight with exceptional steering for a start. As it contains a carrycot, you can use it from birth and not just throughout the day either.

There is no getting away from the fact that the Bugaboo is mightily expensive, but the features it provides should be of some solace to those who need to save for it. Hardy in different terrain, it has adjustable handlebars and suspension wheels, which mean you and your baby can be assured of your comfort wherever you are. It is easy to fold and is machine washable, with a range of extras, such as rain cover, canopy, underseat shopping bag and maintenance kit, although not all of them are included in the price. This is what we think. Please let us, and other parents, know what you think about the Bugaboo Travel System, by leaving your comments here.

We love ours, first few weeks used it for overnight sleeping, now I am just about to convert it into the pushchair mode.

Everyone who wheels it admit it's so easy to push.

Def.recommend (we dont realy use the basket...)

I bought one second hand (about half price) and am really pleased with it. I use it as much in the house as out. Its a great safe place to leave him and let him sleep - i wheel it into whatever room i am in. Mine is black so he finds it nice and soothing place to doze off, and as he is so used to napping in it, he has no trouble sleeping even in busy restaurants.

On the downside, the basket is really difficult to access when you have it in pram mode but at least you can fit in lots of stuff. Its also too big for a lot of car boots - check before you invest!
