Gurgle’s Mums Panel reviews: Mothercare seamfree clothing
Our testers...
Our testers were four gurgle members and mums-to-be: Nicole, Amie, Steffi, and Sandra.
Our testers ranged in size from 8 to 20, meaning the products were tested on a full range of different figures and body shapes. Here’s what our testers thought of the clothing:
Nicole
“Finally, I can wear something without it leaving a mark when it has been very tight. It is a stretchy material and therefore stretches to fit your shape correctly, unlike some clothing where there will be areas too small or too loose.”
“They are the most comfortable fabric; I love the way it hugs my skin but at the same time gives me room to breathe. It is soft and luxurious and I can’t take it off! It beats my pyjamas any day – which I had been living in before I tried this clothing.”
“They are just brilliant items. I have heard people say “just get big sizes of normal clothes”, but there is no way I will do that now, having experienced this maternity wear. It is so much more comfortable and flattering on the bump than loose, unfitted clothing.”
Steffi
“These items are so well made and you can tell they are high quality from the feel, material and even the appearance of the items.”
“The bra and top supported my boobs so well i was shocked at how supportive they were. These items have improved my achey back so much there are amazing.”
Amie
“By far my favourite piece was the support vest, which, on first sight I was convinced was not going to fit me. However, the material was very stretchy and it fitted perfectly. It felt snug over my bump without feeling tight anywhere else.”
“What I particularly liked about the bump band was that it fit and stayed in place all day. I have avoided buying these in the past as I thought they would slip and would need constant readjustment. This was not the case and I felt so comfortable I almost forgot I was wearing it.”
“The quality of the items were impressive, I loved that everything was seam free which meant each piece looked great worn under clothes. There were no visible lines when worn with tight or thin clothing and that made me feel comfortable and confident.”
Sandra
“This is a bra I could live in. It's a tad tight on my frame, so I would go for large or extra large, but I'm very picky about things being too tight and wear way above my size so that I don't have to feel my bra!”
“The tank was a little snug on me (but then I am 8 months pregnant with twins!) I did think it was made well and for women who are really used to wearing sports bras and vests, I'm sure they'd like this one”
