An interview with Peppa Pig about her new live show Peppa-Pig-and-Harley-280

Following the 10th anniversary of Peppa Pig, for the first time ever Peppa will be heading onto the big screen for a whole hour of fun where fans can have an exclusive look at the first ever 15 minute special The Golden Boots episode alongside favourite 'Peppasodes'.

Golden Boots is only on cinema screens around the UK during February half term.

To celebrate the launch we spoke to the voice behind Peppa Pig, 13-year-old actress Harley Bird to find out more about the voice behind the the nation's favourite cartoon pig.

How did you get to role of Peppa Pig's voice?

I had recently joined Alphabet Kidz agency at the age of 6 and soon after my agent put me up for the role of voice over for Peppa, I then went to see the makers of the show and soon after was offered the role.

Is Peppa as a character like you in any way? If so what?

Yes she is cheeky and fun like I am and she laughs a lot which I do too! She has a little bit of stubborness in her which I think I may also have too!

What has been your favourite Peppa Pig episode?

I really like the new Golden Boots episode and I also like the one where Peppa can't whistle.

Can you tell us a bit about Golden Boots?

It is a surprise you need to go and watch it!

What do you think of Peppa making it to the big screen?

I saw it at the premier and I loved it, it was brilliant.

What's next for Peppa? And what's next for you?

Not sure what's planned next for Peppa and not sure what is next for me I would like a nice film - fingers crossed!
