Slow toys

A beautiful ethical wooden toy that aids creativity for tots

As Christmas Day progresses and more and more gifts get opened, the noise level gets higher and higher, and the sight of garish plastic can become nauseating. No, we’re not the Grinch in disguise, we just wonder what happened to all the old-school toys – we’re thinking hand-crafted wooden things and simpler stuff that lets your tots use their imaginations. And that’s why we love the Slow Toy Movement, which encourages us mums to give our children ethical toys that aid creativity. Of course, there’s a place for flashy, modern fun, but there’s also one for a bit of traditional style. Just saying!
