David Beckham, No. 1 hands on dad?

Mums vote David Beckham as No. 1 hands on dad

Long gone are the days when dads would keep well away from the delivery room and light a cigar to celebrate the news.

These days it's all about the hands on dad, getting stuck in changing nappies, feeding and even on occasions, daddy daycare.

According to a recent study by Sudocrem and parenting club Bounty, David Beckham is the celeb dad of choice that has inspired boys to become footballers, teenagers to have tattoos and now he's inspiring dads to change nappies.

David Beckham is viewed as the most hands-on dad in Britain and women want their men to follow his lead.

Prince William, Brad Pitt and Elton John were also chosen as role models; all of whom have been spotted out and about with their children.

Top daddy role models who made the list include:

David Beckham 51%

Brad Pitt 25%

Prince William 16%

Elton John 3%
