What parental advice works for you?
There's a fine line between helpful advice and too much advice when it comes to parenting, but getting the right advice can be invaluable.
A new survey reveals that over half of parents now trust the advice of their peers over their parents.
Research by Pampers has found that modern day parents are now consulting a mammoth 22 sources for every baby related decision. As parents agonise and weigh up several sources of advice for every baby step they take, over half of parents now trust their friends and peers opposed to their parents as their main source of the most up to date advice on baby related matters.
The survey of 1,000 parents across the UK also revealed that baby sleep ranks second (47.9%) in the list of the top parenting concerns, topped only by illness (56.2%). This is followed by potty training (31.2%), then teething (28.5%) and in 5th place what products to buy (19.2%).
