Grand Designs to raise money for kids

Spoof Grand Designs show raises money for kids Kevin-McCloud-den-day-280

Best known as the frontman of Channel 4's Grand Designs, British designer Kevin McCloud is getting in the comedy spirit to raise money for Save the Children's 'Den Day' fundraiser.

In a new spoof of the much-loved architectural project show, Grand Designs, Kevin provides a voice over to the light hearted short film which has been created for the launch of the Save the Children's 'Den Day' family fundraiser.

Den Day is the idea of children's charity Save the Children and is a fun way for families to get creative for a good cause; by getting sponsored to build a den and spend a day or night in it.

The short Grand Designs film follows an eager team of mini self-builders on their journey to create their dream den and in true Grand Designs style, the road to the build isn't easy but they emerge winners in the end.
