Silver Cross brings back it's Wayfarer with a very modern twist
Devolped alongside a mother's group, Silver Cross have brought back their old favourite, the Wayfarer, but it's been completely re-invented and redeveloped with pops of colour for the seat and hood and lots of practical features parents will love. It's an update of the old 1980's design but it retains the classic features that worked so well back in the 80's, such as the large shopping basket below and the striking rectangular shaped chassis.
The Wayfarer is a complete travel system that weighs in at a tiny 6.5kg. It really is very small and light (it has been tested to fit into the boot of a little Toyota Yaris..) With a base unit, carrycot, chassis, car seat adaptors and a cup holder included in it's £395 price tag, we're sure parents will be very happy indeed.
Gurgle mums love: the one hand recline system that makes it easy with a sleeping tot. Also the pushchair can be folded completely in it's forward facing seat mode- very handy.
One for the dads: the Wayfarer handles extend for use up to the height of a 6"5 dad!
Four years in the making, Silver Cross have developed the Simplicity car seat and Isofix base to compliment the Wayfarer. Both are not only easy for parents (and grandparents!) to use, they are both rigourously safety checked to be one of the safest on the market.
Available from spring 2013 – the Wayfarer base carrycot and pushchair, £395, hood and apron pack, £100, and Simplicity car seat, £130, are all available from Silver Cross.
