How much will you spend on a baby shower?
In light of the news that Kate Middleton was the first Royal to have a baby shower, Mothercare have brought out research that shows that women spend a whopping £560 on gifts and attend an average of 23 baby showers in a lifetime... and if you think that's alot, the most generous of friends spend a staggering £1664.67! Mothercare took a poll of women who had baby showers in the last year and one in 10 created a baby gift list. Over a quarter of the mums they spoke to revealed it was a moses basket they most hoped to receive, closely followed by baby suits.
