Toddler balance bike challenge!
If your toddler is quite nippy on the old balance bike and you fancy their chances at being the next mini-Bradley Wiggins-in-the-making, have a look at the 2013 Strider British Bike Championships. You have to be over 18 months and under 5 years old to compete and have a balance bike (that means no pedals folks).
There are 5 qualifying events over the summer - London and Gosport it will be the Cyclopark in Gravesend that is set to host the third qualifying leg of the championships on July 21st. Action will then move to Birmingham (August 21st) Glasgow (September 7th) and finish in Manchester at the home of British Cycling (September 22nd).
At each qualifying event, finalists will win the chance to enter the invitation-only finals, held in Manchester in September, to ride for the chance to be crowned the 2013 British Champion and have the chance to represent Great Britain at the Strider World Championships in Florida later in the year.
The event takes place this sunday 21st July 2013 at The Tollgate, Wrotham Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 7NP
9am to 2pm (racing will start from 10am)
