Myleene-First-Aid-280

If you need first aid, call Myleene!

Celeb mum Myleene Klass recently put her first aid skills into action on the Loose Women set when fellow guest Rebecca Ferguson fainted live on air. Myleene dashed over to the 27-year-old singer and put her into the recovery position.

It's not the first time the presenter has flexed her first aid muscles. In 2012 Myleene delivered first aid to her baby daughter Hero when she swallowed a star from a toy crown. Myleene had been on a baby first aid course before Hero's older sister Ava was born and had the confidence and knowledge to help her daughter when she began to choke.

Well done Myleene!

Would you know how to help your baby like Myleene did?

The British Red Cross tells us what to do in this situation...

First-Aid-1-NEW

1. Give up to five back blows

Hold the baby face down along your thigh with their head lower than their bottom. Hit them firmly on their back between the shoulder blades up to five times. If the back blows do not dislodge the object, move on to step two.

first-aid-2-NEW

2. Give up to five chest thrusts.

Turn the baby over so they are facing upwards and place two fingers in the middle of the chest just below the nipples. Push inwards up to five times. If chest thrusts do not dislodge the object, repeat steps one and two.

3. Call 999 if the object has not dislodged after three cycles of back blows and chest thrusts.
