Hi my name is Kate, i am 27, i have been with my husband for 7 years and maried for 2. I came off the pill in August, having been on it for 8 years. I have been using ovulation sticks, and i am ovulating, it's so nice to know my body is working ok after so long on the pill. We are now actively TTC but not taking it too seriuosly as i don't want to stress myself out. We want to start a family so much, but we both have very stressful jobs. I Would love to hear all your advice and i look forward to sharing this journey with you all. Good luck to all. X X X update:10.03.09 have just got my 5th BFP!!! So excited, a little bit shocked for some reason but im over that now and just delighted. I am 7 weeks so just need to look after myself now. Wahoo!! X X Have had 3 scans now, and all is good, i cant wait for my 20 week scan!! Week 17 and still feeling totally rubbish, sick about 4 times a day and totally exhausted, my lil bump is coming along nicely though. Have treated myself to some pregger clothes!! Have go a little kidney infetion so taking it easy this week. Bring on the Bloom!! I'm ready!!! Week 22 - Feeling loads better, had a month off work due to continued sickness and dehydration and i'm feeling so much better for it. In that time we had our 20 week scan, wow!! What a big bubba now!! all looks perfect, we decided not to find out what we are having, but i am having strong feelings it's a girl. Feeling very connected to my munchkin now as she kicks and squirms all the time, my husband can feel it too now which is sooo lovely. Over half way now!! Yikes!! 24/10/2009 My little man arrived on his due date no less!! after 40 hours of labour i could not get past 9cm dilated so had a c section. He is amazing and i am sooo in love. x x
