Hi, I am 25 years old and expecting my first baby on 8th August 2010. I live with my boyfriend (no ring yet, boo hoo) and work full time. My Diary: 4th Dec - Got our BFP! Did the test after being two days overdue for my AF. Decided to hold my pee in ALL NIGHT to get the best result! 5th Dec - Told my sister she was going to be an auntie, proceeds to look at my dumbly before realising I meant I was pregnant! 12th Dec - Told my other sister I was PG, she also looks at me dumbly and doesn't believe me at first! 25th Dec - Told my parents they are going to be Grandparents, they reacted exactly as I expected - both over the moon. 26th Dec - Tell my Grandparents about pg, Grandma proceeds to call me a stupid girl and Grandad pretends he doesn't hear anything. 10th Jan - First Midwife app't, goes smoothly, no problems. 22nd Jan - Admitted to hospital following breathing difficulties with suspected blood clot on lung, discharged 2 days later having been thoroughly poked, prodded, injected, scanned and x-rayed. 2nd Feb - Dating scan day! Yay! All goes well and no problems found, they confirm my due date is 8th Aug 23rd Feb - 2nd midwife app't, moved house so new midwife, this one is so disorgansied and scatty, got to hear LO's heartbeat 27th Feb - OH FINALLLY told his parents he's going to be a Daddy. 3rd Mar - Tell good friends about bump, proceed to give us loads of advise we didn't ask for, GRRRR!
