I had no idea what to expect, as I'm sure all of you new mummies can appreciate... but what an amazing feeling it is to feel like the recovery proces is almost over, and you can just enjoy the time you have with baby... who now has a name. :) (though I still refer to him as 'baby') He's adooorable! Sleeps loads, and let mummy and daddy sleep a full 5 hours straight last night...YES! Hopefully this is the first of many nights like this, but if not, I guess it just means more cuddle times and breastfeeding in the early hours with the birds tweeting like mad outside the window... ;)
