hi my name is Emma and in 27 years old. my son Harry was born November 23rd 07. All through my pregnancy i was worried i was going to have a big baby, my partner is 6 foot 4 and im a tiny 5 foot 2. The midwifes did their best to convince me that Harry wouldnt be a big baby, imagine my suprise when they weighed him and he tipped the scales at 8 pound 14 ounces! I was also pretty scared about labour, i was guilty of listening to everyones experinces and assuming all labours were tourture, but the day i went in to labour i managed to put off going to hospital for hours, i finally gave in got to hospital at about 3am (at this point i was already 6 cm dilated) and Harry was born at 10! i have joined gurgle to talk to other parents, none of my friends have children so im sure they are getting bored of my baby ramblings!
