I'm German, my husband English, so our daughter is growing up with 2 languages and relatives in many places! Sadly none near us (Southwest England) so very much a fulltime mum. Not working outside the home at the moment but looking at getting my confidence back to look into doing work as a translator from home. Wish me luck! Love my little monkey to bits, she's great, very clever, funny, gorgeous, mad, and unique. Love my husband to bits, too, he's got a lot of the same characteristics! Have had (and still do a bit) some issues with overeating and stuff (some issues with stress etc as well - got IBS), trying to get myself into a healthy living frame of mind again, for everyone's benefit. Need to improve my discipline. In terms of physical but also emotional state I have good days and bad, much like anyone else no doubt. Oh, and I'm a Christian. And, on a completely unrelated note, I've got emetophobia which made being pregnant a bit of a nervous affair! Things I like: my family, sun, warm summer days, swimming, reading, travelling, getting together with friends. Good food (sadly) and good wine (again, sadly). Things I dislike: Littering, rude/careless people, grey and rainy days, queueing, everything costing so much money, taking absolute ages to get out of the house these days and that it's so chuffing difficult to get around certain places with a buggy sometimes! :-) That's it for now, haven't used up my 2000 letters but got close! This is a snapshot of who and how I am at the moment, summer of 2008.
