My name is Sophia and i'm 23, i'm a first time mum although have have alot of experiance with children due to looking after my 5 nephews day in day out for my Brother and Sister In Law quite some time ago now who ranged from 3 months to 15yrs at the time. Our daughter was unplanned and unexpected due to me being on the pill!! But there's no way we would have had it any other way as our Amber Lily is our pride and joy. She was born 2 weeks early - thankgod!! normal birth at 5lbs 13.5oz. I'd choose to go through labour several times rather than the 9 months of pregnancy if i could next time! I've been with my partner Kaal for 5 years next December, and before we found out i was pregnant we were about to start planning our wedding which we've now decided to put on hold until Amber can remember it. I'm currently having to go back to work at the end of my maternity in June but it will only be part time as i can only ask of family so much and i absolutely hate the idea of someone i dont know (with X amount of qualifications to do so) looking after her and so am not going down the whole childcare route.
