Hi, I' a late bloomer...we've been trying to have children for a while when I found out that I had problems. So we have been down the IVF avenue and after 3 tries I gave birth to our most beautiful baby Joshua. After an extremley lovely pregnancy, although I was diagnosed with gestational diabetis, we were told that it was going to be a big baby so they decided to induce me two weeks early....but Josh wasn't going to be pushed out, he decided to come the day before induction...well he started to come. 22hrs later, after a painful labour (which I went through ALL the pain meds) he was born....7lb 8oz. And we haven't looked back. I was determined to breastfeed, and being very big up top found this difficult at first, but we carried on and we nailed it. Still feeding booby but at 3 months wasn't enough so we started baby rice, which he just loved (even though health visitor wasn't happy). Josh is now 6 months with his 2nd tooth coming (1st one came at 5mths). And he's a very happy baby, I couldn't ask for anything else.....well yes I could... a little more sleep at night would be nice....he's still waking 3/4 times a night for feeds.
