When I found out that I was pregnant i didnt know how to react. I cried! rang up my partner, my mum, a couple of close friends. I had a miscaraige when i was 17. don't think I ever got over it up until now. I was only 3-4 weeks pregnant when i found out so i didnt give my hopes up... i suppose i thought if i expect the worst i wont be let down. But now Im 15weeks tomorrow and the baby still has a heartbeat and making a little home inside me... although I still cant quite relax yet because Im waiting for friday 17th to hurry up as m having an amnio test done as my baby is high risk for downs syndrome. 1/96 they told me. im only 19 and didnt expect it so im still in a bit of shock and am so scared but I have a lot of people reasuring me that everything will be fine. but i just spose i cant let go of the thinking negative... Im so excited about being a mum. I think iv been quite brewdy since a young age probably because my mum is quite maternal which isnt a bad thing because iv learnt a lot from her!! Im quite glad to say Im still with the dad but also not coping to well with the lack of support. Hes only 20, typical young bloke, likes to go out at the weekend. cant cope under any stress!! so in stressful situations e.g. when having bleeding and pains earlier in my pregnancy, he was useless for support!! and obviously from where we are both young and probably need to grow up a bit its put a lot of strain on our relationship... money etc. his family is based in kent where hes grown up. mine are in middlesex where iv grown up. so its hard aswel for him as im determined to be around my mum and close friends at this time in my life... but otherwise we are both very loving people who cant wait for our baby to arrive healthy... =)
