My son is eleven months old and is now walking around 20 steps unaided (and more everyday) he is qite small for his age as he was 5 weeks premature. We have tried a few shops that sell baby/toddler shoes and they have said that he is a size 3 and that they don't make shoes for walking in a size that small. I believe it is important that his feet are supported in the right places especially while he settles into walking and would like to get him some nice sandals for the summer. Can anyone suggest any shops or shoe makes that will sell toddling shoes in this size? Thanks!

Mothercare have some first walkers in a size 3 & I believe Clarks do a few size 3's too.

my name is amanda jane, my son is 5 and a half months now just started eatting baby food he loves it, he loves playin on the floor, he can roll on this front now but cant roll bk, also learning to hold things now but hits him self with the things he trys to pick up. tryin to buy a baby walker 4 him now cause he gets a bit bored. i still remember the night my kids were born it go so fast so u have to make the most of it. xx

I like pedipeds as a first shoe. They are incredibly soft which protects their growing bones. unless toddlers are walking outside they dont require shoes until the have been walking for 6 weeks. saves money too!
