This week your baby practises what it is like to be human. She blinks and rubs her eyes, yawns, grasps the umbilical cord (as if playing with it) and carries on wriggling around kicking her legs and arms. The hair on her head is beginning to grow and the hairline she will have when she is born starts to form. As your uterus grows and your belly starts to expand you may experience stretch marks as your skin stretches to accommodate your baby. Unfortunately there is not much you can do to stop them occurring, but rubbing olive oil on your lower abdomen twice a day may help to keep the skin supple and moisturised.
