Your baby is putting down more fat stores underneath his skin and gains as much as 17 ounces per week. The hair that covers your baby’s skin, called lanugo is shedding slowly and will probably be gone by the time your baby is born. There is not much room inside your uterus at the moment but your baby may turn into a head down position around now. This is the ideal position for your baby to be born. Don’t worry if you feel your baby moving less, it’s not easy to somersault in its cramped environment.
