You are now thirteen weeks pregnant
This week many women notice that morning sickness tends to subside (yipee) and instead of feeling quite so exhausted you may begin to get your normal energy levels back and actually start enjoying being pregnant. If you're still feeling tired and nauseous, read our feature on coping with early pregnancy. Remember, this stage doesn't last for long (although it can seem like forever) so make the most of any pampering you are getting from your partner! This week your baby will measure around 7-8cm long and is busy sucking (practising those reflexes for breastfeeding), swallowing and wriggling about. She is also starting to look even more human as her head and neck move up and become straighter and she looks less like a little prawn.
