Crawling: how to help your baby

Well the above post and commenst are very useful. The video is very helpful for us. In aditional, We can make our baby happy by doing some shopping like getting toys, games and much more. My chunky little boy is 42weeks (9 1/2 months) and he hasn't shown the slightest interest in even getting onto his knees to be able to start crawling! If he's standing up he doesn't know how to move his legs either!

that's a very useful video, especially the bit about putting your face at the baby's height and singing to him/her so s/he learns that being tummy down is as interesting as being tummy up.
what else can you do to encourage a baby to lie on its tummy? my little girl immediately turns back onto her back and then yells because she thinks she's stuck.
i've tried putting favourite toys in front of her (when she's momentarily on her tummy) or out to the sides (when she's lying on her back) but she loses interest in them the minute she realises she'll have to make an effort and move to reach them. she's more interested in people than toys.
