We've teamed up with Otti Prams to offer you the chance to win one of their Free Ranger pushchairs worth £223!
Otti Prams is a small family business with a big heart! Launched by teacher and archaeologist, Lindsey Bauer and her husband, Angus, in October 2015, Otti Prams make smart, super-practical, travel systems, suitable for use from birth. Available in limited-edition prints designed by the couple’s eldest daughter, Poppy, who has a talent for creating beautiful prints out of everyday visuals and is currently studying for a GCSE in art.
As a lover of prints, Lindsey had the idea for Otti Prams when she was expecting the youngest of their 3 daughters, Ottilie, in 2009. Trying to purchase a printed pram as a way of expressing her personal style and keeping a sense of individuality. Lindsey felt that there must be a way to create a range of gorgeous printed prams with regularly-changing designs.
Otti Prams' first limited-edition range feature two pram models: a 4-wheel ‘Urban Ranger’ model – brilliant for nipping around towns and cities with its compact frame (and car seat adaptors, enabling a Maxi-Cosi car seat to be attached); and a 3-wheel ‘Free Ranger’ model - ideal for country life, walks on the beach and moor, and uneven surfaces due to it’s spring-loaded, air-filled tyres. Both prams are simple to assemble, comfortable for babies and toddlers, easy to push and fold neatly when not in use. They comply fully with the latest EU safety standards (EN 1888) and benefit from a 12-month warranty. Each model comes with a pushchair, carrycot, raincover and cosy toes. (The Urban Ranger model also features car seat adaptors).
Otti Prams currently have 3 different designs:
- A petit design of a Parisian lady walking a Dachshund on a white background on the Urban Ranger model; (this is a fave with chic London mums)
- A cheery Pointer-Dog print on a vibrant lime green background, also on the Urban Ranger model; (this has been an overall bestseller so far!)
- A classy Horse-silhouette print on a bang-on-trend, stone-grey hued, Free Ranger model, featuring silver trim (this pram is a huge hit with the country set but it’s swivel front-wheel, mean it’s not cumbersome to manoeuvre around shops too – it caused quite a stir when Lindsey wheeled it around Central London!)
At the core of Otti Prams is a philanthropic aspect: when baby Ottilie, who the prams are named after, was just 4 weeks old, she contracted swine flu. Lindsey and Angus decided to put altruism at the heart of Otti Prams, financially donating to 2 x registered Children’s Charities each year: the Niemann-Pick Research Foundation (who receive 1% of Otti Prams' turnover) and Hope for Children. From every UK Otti Pram sale, £30 will go to buy a prosthetic limb for a child who has suffered a land-mine injury in Sri Lanka due to residual land-mines from previous civil war there. In addition, Otti Prams help other charities as much as they can, for example, The British Red Cross have just accepted a donation of three Otti Prams for Refugee families in need. Each Otti Prams' purchase makes a difference to the lives of other children and families. Otti Prams are #PramsWithaHeart"
