Heathrow to be imaginary friend friendly

Bizarrely, Heathrow airport has announced it's going to be the first airport to train staff to interact with children's imaginary friends.

Heathrow

It follows research showing one in three British children have imaginary friends, which obviously means 68 per cent of them will take them

 on holiday.

The star of imaginary friend comedy Moone Boy Chris O'Dowd voices the tutorial video instructing staff on how to spot and interact with children's fictional friends. Starring real Heathrow staff, it shows every point of contact from an invisible playmate being helped through security to a waiter serving an invisible meal to an imaginary friend.

Apparently over half of children wish other people would acknowledge and speak to their invisible friends like they do.

So if your holiday plans include an invisible extra, at least you know you won't have any problems getting them through security without a ticket...
