Prince William and Kate welcome royal baby boy
Weighing 8lb 7oz, Kate Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her third child, a prince, at 11:01 am on St. George's Day.
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who welcomed a new baby boy into the world on the Monday 23rd August.
A statement from Kensington Palace said: 'Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.

'The baby weighed 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.
'The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.'
Barack and Michelle Obama also offered their congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their new arrival via Michelle's Instagram account.

Michelle posted a snap of Prince George meeing Barack at The White House in 2006 captioned, 'Barack and I are thrilled to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their newest arrival! We hope to meet him soon for a Kensington Palace pajama party. I'll wear my robe!'.
The comment was in reference to the adorable robe from the UK's leading personalised children's clothing and accessories brand, My 1st Years, worn by Prince George for the occasion.
