Netflix leads the way with parental leave
Netflix has announced it's allowing employees to take unlimited maternity and paternity leave during their child's first year.
During the first year after the child is born or adopted, parents will be able to take off however long they feel the need to, can return full- or part-time and can even take more time off later in the year after they've gone back to work.
The company aims to encourage an environment of freedom and responsibility in its offices, allowing employees the freedom to make their own decisions and take responsibility for their work while being offered flexibility to balance their family demands in return.
