Help Piccolo support refugee families this Christmas
The baby food company Piccolo has just launched its latest project to support new parents and children in the UK and you can help! Here’s how
Share the spirit of the season throughout December with Piccolo’s One to One campaign to help ensure babies don’t go hungry this Christmas.
Piccolo will be donating baby and toddler meals to help British Red Cross support refugee and asylum-seeking families with babies and toddlers.
How you can help
For every Piccolo pouch or pot sold in Tesco stores nationwide throughout December, Piccolo will donate at least one baby and toddler meal to the project.
‘Last year 15,000 refugees and asylum seekers experienced extreme poverty, including pregnant women and new mothers. At Piccolo, we firmly believe no child should go hungry, so we’re proud to be running our annual One for One campaign this Christmas, to support the work that the British Red Cross does across the UK to support refugee and asylum seeking families with babies and toddlers,’ says Piccolo founder and mum, Cat Gazzou.
You can also help when you order your Piccolo pots and pouches from Tesco online.
In 2017, Piccolo donated 125,000 meals to disadvantaged children relying on food banks throughout the UK, and this year it’s supporting the British Red Cross to help refugee parents to make life a little bit better for their families.
