Can homeopathic remedy Folliculinum help with irregular cycles?
Follow our simple advice about your cycle after coming off of the contraceptive pill and whether Folliculinum can help if you're experiencing irregular periods.
Can the homeopathic remedy Folliculinum help with irregular cycles? I came off the pill six months ago to try for our first baby but suspect I’m not ovulating every month.
It’s not unusual for it to take several months for ovulation and regular periods to re-establish themselves after being on the pill for some time, and Folliculinum can be very helpful with this.
However, I’d strongly recommend that you consult a professional homeopath who will take a holistic view of your health and wellbeing as well as what’s happening hormonally, before deciding whether you need this or another remedy. It’s fine to self-prescribe with homeopathy for minor illness, such as colds or digestive upsets, but it’s always best to see a fully trained practitioner for more complex issues.
Another great thing about seeing a homeopath now is that they can then help you through pregnancy, birth and beyond. At the Society of Homeopaths website (homeopathy-soh.org) you can search for a professional homeopath by postcode. All members are accredited with the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body accountable to the UK Parliament.
