East Coast Nursery Multi-Height Highchair review

East Coast Nursery Multi-Height Highchair

In a Nutshell
A robust wooden highchair that can be converted into a neat junior seat. Comes in a natural or white finish and with a choice of cushion inserts (£15 extra).

Features
Like most East Coast products, it’s made from sturdy rubber wood. As a highchair, the seat and footrest can both be adjusted to three positions. Once the tray is removed, it offers 11 more.

Practicality
This style of wooden seat, suitable from baby to adult, was pioneered by the Stokke Tripp Trapp, but the advantage of this one is that the price includes all the bits you need other than a seat insert.

Wow Factor
The huge value of this highchair is how many years of use you will get out of it. The chair can’t, of course, be folded up but at 8kg it is easy enough to shunt around the table.

Nit-picking
As with most wooden models, the tray and harness aren’t hugely practical, nor is the seat instantly adjustable – you will need tools to alter the height. Then again, you can’t have everything.
