In a Nutshell
A cunning way to appease a toddler who might be worried about the arrival of a sibling is to invest in a travel cot adorned with Hello Kitty livery. If you’re after a standard travel cot that stands out from the crowd then this could well be for you.
This full-sized cot weighs 10kg and comes with a bassinet that attaches onto its perimeter. One end offers a useful storage pouch for wipes or nappies while the others are mesh panels.
This is a basic umbrella-style model. The bassinet, which is held in place by two poles and multiple plastic hooks, isn’t the sturdiest out there, and the flap of material that covers all the hooks, could take a bit of a bashing as baby grows.
Plenty of little girls, and indeed their mums, will be enchanted by the cuteness of Hello Kitty and this is certainly cheerier than more conventionally styled models. Babies and dads may be less excited, but who cares?
Overall the build could be more robust, so this is perhaps not one for more boisterous boys. Comparing like for like, you are paying an extra premium for the branding. But hey, you know that.
