In a Nutshell
This innovative cot brings a big spoonful of designer chic to the party, in a choice of three colours (light blue, silver and black), plus genuine practical appeal – not least the comfort it’ll offer your little soldier.
The Baby Björn has a simple frame that assembles in seconds and packs into a case measuring just 48 x 60 x 15cm. Probably not quite small enough for an airline overhead locker, but close.
The exoskeleton design creates a cosy, if small, cocoon with no hard surfaces and the fabric is machine washable. The surround mesh provides good visibility for parent, but not child. And the mattress is shorter than a standard cot.
This cot weighs just 5kg and is super easy to set up, while offering excellent stability. The mattress is fairly plush and its cover can be quickly removed for a full clean-up operation.
For some the price may be eye-watering, plus you’ll need a further £20 for the matching fitted sheet. Also, the legs require some strength to disassemble them, at least when new, and there are no storage pockets.
