Emma Bunton, (Spice Girl, radio presenter and mum of two), today launches her latest venture, Kit & Kin, which is an eco-friendly nappy and mum and baby product collection.
Emma is launching the brand with business partner Chris Money, who has worked in the world of baby products for over 15 years. Chris and Emma met through a mutual friend, when she had been struggling a little bit with her own boys' skincare. Both of Emma's sons had been suffering with eczema. She got speaking to Chris, and started chatting - and the result is Kit & Kin!

Alongside the range of nappies, which are designed with cute woodland characters on the bottom, there is a product range, which includes magic salve, body wash and cream. They are all natural, with no synthetic fragrances, but still capture that unmistakable 'newborn' smell.
And the dynamic duo aren't just talking the eco-friendly talk. The majority of the nappies take just 3-6 years to biodegrade. They also have a partnership with World Land Trust, so that for every ten babies wearing their nappies, they buy and preserve an acre of the rainforest, through the Trust.
Emma, also an ambassador for Unicef, felt very strongly about their credentials. She felt that the products had to work, naturally, and nappies had to keep a baby dry for 12 hours, but smelling good was also on her checklist. But this is only the beginning, since the range will hopefully include organic swaddles in the future.
