A pram to take on a plane? Check!
Hooray, it's time for holidays - here's a cool piece of kit to ease the journey
Silver Cross Avia
Off on your jolly holidays? Believe us, when you are lugging a pram on board a plane, lifting it into the car boot or even dropping off at grannies, the most important factor is always weight. So the new Silver Cross Avia, which has launched this month, goes straight to the top of the class weighing in at a mere 5.5kg, or 12lbs. And look how pretty, too!
It has an extra roomy seat, with an adjustable backrest, which goes all the way back to the full lie-flat position. You can use the pram from birth up to 20kg, and the hood protects from rain as well as providing UPF50+ sun protection – meaning it will perform as well in Skiathos as it will in Skegness.
The colour show here is 'Eton Grey', Avia is also available in 'Henley'. It's worth noting that you can buy the matching Simplicity car seat in the same colourways, too.
Available in two special edition colours, £225, silvercrossbaby.com
Ultra compact fold, plus you can use the bumper bar as a carry handle
And, if you are in the market for something bigger, too, then don't miss the special edition Expedition range from Silver Cross. The beautiful bronze frame with basket-weave fabric and leatherette handle design is available over the Surf, Pioneer and Wayfarer travel systems. Here's a preview, but you can check out the whole range at silvercrossbaby.com
