Kids TV Debate: Humour V education

Kids TV Debate: Humour V education

A new survey has revealed that most parents prefer their children to watch television programmes which make them laugh, over more educational shows.

1041

The survey of 1000 parents of pre-school aged children (under five), was carried out by Zodiak Rights, which produces a wide range of children's television programmes.

The results of the survey revealed that 67 per cent of mums and dads would choose television programmes to entertain their children, rather than those which might be more focused on helping their child's learning and development.

According to the survey, Peppa Pig, Tickety Toc and Postman Pat are among the funniest children's television shows on screen at the moment.
