BookFest tickets out now

Children can take part in a model-making workshop with the creators of Shaun the Sheep, a Wombles singalong and a Mad Hatter storytelling at the Wimbledon BookFest this autumn.

Tickets are now on sale for the ninth annual BookFest in the Big Tent on Wimbledon Common 2-11 October – so get in there quick if you and the little ones want the chance to go!

Inspirational poet Michael Rosen will be performing, Professor Potter will be bringing the Philosopher's Stone to life and there's a children's illustration course where young illustrators can create their own character.

Virginia McKenna OBE will also be talking about writing, animals and Africa to launch the new Born Free story collection.
