Cow & Gate baby muesli recalled
Cow & Gate has recalled a batch of its banana muesli after parents found insects in the packets
Around 19,000 packets of Cow & Gate Sunny Start My First Banana Muesli have been recalled after complaints by parents who found moth larvae in the packets.
The muesli, for babies aged 10 months and over, triggered 19 complaints in total and the company has recalled the batch with a best before date of 27 September 2016 on a precautionary basis.
Cow & Gate have asked parents to not feed the muesli with the same best before date to your baby. The company stressed no other products are affected by the recall and an investigation is taking place at the factory into the incident.
You can return packs to a store for a refund or contact Cow & Gate on 0800 977 4000.
