Tennis pro Andy Murray and wife Kim Sears have named their first child Sophia Olivia after welcoming her to the family on 7 February.

The bookies had odds on names Freya, Alexandra and Elizabeth as favourites, and many speculated the pair may go for a more traditionally Scottish name.

Little Sophia was apparently born weighing 8lb 10oz, and Andy's hometown of Dunblane has been decking its post boxes and store fronts in pink to celebrate the couple's new arrival.

The couple, both 28, married in Dunblane, Scotland, on 11 April 2015, and announced they were expecting their first child in the summer. Their daughter arrived less than a week after Andy dashed back from the Australian Open.
