Get your kids cooking

great british chefs

It's never been so important to get the kids eating healthy and being a little more adventurous with food. The award wining recipe site, Great British Chefs is launching a 'Cooking with Kids Programme' in association with Tesco Realfood. The idea is to encourage parents to get their kids cooking using exclusive new recipes and virtual masterclasses as well as a new app.

A whopping 100 new recipes are featured including the fantastic sounding Rice Krispie fish fingers with tangy mayo, and the fun Happy face egg with crispy asparagus soldiers.

Gurgle Mums Love: the new iPhone/iPad app, launching in May ('kids recipes') as each recipe is linked through to a shopping basket so parents can buy all the related ingredients in a single click from Tesco.com - so much easier.

We even loved the voice control on the app that allows you to cook without touching the iPad or iPhone- no more sticky fingers!

The Kids Recipes app is available from 1st May and the recipes are available online in the Spring on greatbritishchefs.com and realfood.tesco.com

To have a sneak peak at some of the recipes featured look at Marcus Wareing's Bacon roly polies, Rice Krispie fish fingers with a tangy mayo dressing and Happy face egg with crispy asparagus soldiers.
