Soothe sniffles with Snufflebabe

Sniffles are no fun for anybody, least of all our little ones

Sniffles are no fun for anybody, least of all our little ones – which can be worrying for you too, especially if it's happening for the first time. Babies are obligate nasal breathers, which means having a blocked nose can make feeding and breathing uncomfortable.

At Snufflebabe, we understand that all baby nasal congestion needs are different. That's why we have a range of six products which all specialise in easing baby nasal congestion in slightly different ways, so that you can treat your little one in a way that suits you and your baby.

Snufflebabe-aspirator-250All of our products provide gentle and effective relief for little stuffy noses; but sometimes what you really need is to help baby get rid of that nasal mucus immediately. That's where the Snufflebabe Nasal Aspirator can be indispensable.

The Snufflebabe Nasal Aspirator is an award-winning* medical device designed by a mother of premature triplets with the idea of providing immediate relief from nasal congestion in mind.

Suitable from birth and paediatrician approved, the Nasal Aspirator (also known as the snot sucker!) lets you physically clear mucus from your baby's nose via a hygienic suction device, for instant relief.

Using the Nasal Aspirator also helps to prevent further complications like ear infections, coughs and stomach upsets. It's so effective, it's also available on prescription.

How do you use it? aspirator-illustration-200

The Snufflebabe Nasal Aspirator is really easy to use and provides gentle relief from sniffles for your little one. Although it does require that you physically suck the mucus from your baby's nose through the filter, don't worry, none of the mucus that will be removed from your baby's nose can enter your mouth at all.

Wash well before first use. Put the nozzle at the opening of the nostril and suck through the mouthpiece (never blow though). The mucus collects hygienically in the sealed chamber. It comes with a handy storage case and two protective hygienic filters, so you can use it again and again. Just wash in warm soapy water after each use.

Snufflebabe Nasal Drops and Nasal Spray work brilliantly to loosen any dried mucus before using the Nasal Aspirator too.

The Snufflebabe Nasal Aspirator is available from Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's and Boots and a number of online chemists. It is also available on prescription from your doctor.
