Your baby is 29 weeks old!

week 29

Your baby this week

This month sees your baby developing her motor skills as she begins to pull up on furniture, ‘coast’ and even crawl. Physically, as soon as she starts crawling or moving about she may lose some of that adorable baby chubbiness and start to resemble a toddler.

As your baby's comprehension surges forward you can help by introducing a few simple concepts. Think, light and dark, hot and cold, sad and happy. You'll be surprised at how much your baby will take in, even if first words are not here yet! Your baby will also enjoy using her hands this week so get ready for lots of pointing and waving...

If your baby attends nursery or even a baby group she might pick up a few viruses so read up about how to treat your baby’s fever, coughs, colds and flu.

Find out how your baby progresses at week 30
